What these terms cover
These terms cover your use of this website and the information on it, including the demo request form. They do not cover the Bashi platform itself. Use of the platform is governed by the written agreement between Bashi and each client institution, and nothing on this website changes that agreement.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using the site
You may browse the site and use the demo request form for your own or your institution's legitimate business purposes. You agree not to:
- use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone's rights;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system;
- copy, scrape or reproduce the site's content for commercial use without our written permission;
- submit false or misleading information through the demo request form;
- introduce malware or otherwise interfere with the site's operation.
Information on the site
The information on this site describes Bashi and its platform in general terms. It is not an offer, a contract, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the terms of a client agreement. Product imagery on the site shows illustrative data for fictional institutions. Logos of prior employers and universities denote the team's background, not clients or endorsements.
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or free of errors, and we may change or remove content at any time.
Where the site describes certifications or compliance frameworks, we state whether each is in progress or completed. Statements about frameworks we are "designed for" describe our design intent and are not a certification.
Demo requests
Submitting the demo request form does not create any commitment on either side. Any demo, pilot or engagement that follows will be set out in a separate written agreement, usually under a non-disclosure agreement.
Intellectual property
The site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos and code, belong to Bashi or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. "Bashi" and the Bashi logo are our marks. You may not use them without our written permission.
Third-party sites and services
The site may link to other websites or load resources from third parties, such as web fonts. We are not responsible for those sites or services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to them.
Privacy
Our privacy notice explains what personal information we collect through this site and how we use it.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, about the site and its content, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you agree to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that gives you mandatory rights under local law, those rights are not affected.
