What this notice covers
This notice covers this website and the demo request form on it. It does not cover the Bashi platform itself, which is governed by the agreement between Bashi and each client institution.
What we collect
When you request a demo, apply for a design partner pilot or request security documentation, we ask for your name, work email address, institution and type of institution, together with an optional message and, for a pilot application, the product line, portfolio size and sponsor. We collect nothing else from you through this site. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads; Google's own privacy policy applies to that request.
Why we use it
We use the details you give us to respond to your request, arrange and run the demo, and follow up on that conversation. We do not use them for anything else.
Who sees it
Your details are seen by the Bashi team members who handle client conversations. Form submissions are received through Netlify, which hosts this site and processes them on our instructions. They are then held in our business email and, where we use one, a customer-relationship service acting on our instructions. We do not sell your details and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing.
Where it is held
Your details may be stored and handled outside the country you are in. Where the law requires safeguards for that, we use standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised mechanism.
How long we keep it
We keep demo request details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or for as long as we have an ongoing business relationship, whichever is longer. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, to have them deleted, to limit or object to how we use them, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to withdraw any permission you have given. To exercise any of these, email hello@bashi.app. You may also have the right to raise a concern with the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top.
